Rules
01. Be Respectful
Whether it be a staff member or another member, always show your utmost respect. If you do develop a problem with someone, please sort it out through PMs or offsite. We do not want to deal with your personal drama, so don’t go posting it in the cbox or in the OOC forum.
02. Follow the ToS
Here at Illuminessence, we have a PG-13 rating, meaning no adult content whatsoever. If the staff sees this, you will be forced to take it down, edit your post, or even risk a temporary ban. This is not only our law, but a Proboards law, so it will be taken very seriously.
03. Account Per Character
Please register a new account for each character you make. The name you register with can be whatever your heart desires, but the display name must be the character's name. To keep track of all your characters, you may post a thread in the tracker forum, Keepers of Chaos, for easy reference.
04. Word Count
Surprise! There is no word count, but we do ask that you put a decent effort into each of your posts. We are welcoming to role players of all skill levels, but we do ask that you try your hardest to write at least a paragraph for the other members to go off of. Also, please be perfectly literate: grammar is your best friend, so type out all of your words.
05. Editing
You are only allowed to edit posts if someone has not already posted after you. This is to prevent confusion, and possible cheating amongst players, especially in situations like events and important plot goings ons.
06. Graphics
Please keep all icons in 100x100 px format, and do not have signature graphics larger than 500x500 px. Also, make sure graphics abide by the ToS
07. Liquid Time
You can join in as many threads as you wish, but please remember which events occur in which thread depending on your timeline. If you happen to lose an arm in a new thread, you’ll have that arm in an old thread, but you can bet that you won’t have it in a new one!
08. Roleplay Etiquette
No god modding or power playing. Do not assume your character is completely invincible and do not assume your attacks always hit another player/monster. You cannot control other characters, and you cannot kill another character without permission.
09. Original Characters Only
As we are an original roleplay, we do not want to see rip offs of characters from other series. Appearance is the only acceptable similarity as we request that you use anime/manga/game face claims only.
10. Activity
We will not tolerate inactive members if they do not inform us of their absence in the Hello and Goodbye forum. If a member does become inactive, their characters may be archived until they return. When we have Activity Checks, be sure to post to prevent this from happening!
11. Have Fun!
Because, really, that’s the whole point isn’t it? Follow all the rules, and we shouldn’t have any problems, and your days can be as fun as you can make them.
