The gardens are as beautiful as ever, decorated via magic and mundane for the wedding. Candles and mystical lights highlighted the most beautiful of the garden's plantlife for the guests to admire as they enjoyed the company, entertainment, and food. Bards sang their great tales, chefs prepared their most passionate meals, and mages all around crowded together to discuss various matters and congratulate the bride and groom. The bride and her family wore the priceless gems found by the citizens of the Hollow, and went to and fro to thank and congratulate the guests for their hard work.
For the marriage was only the surface purpose of the wedding. The Hollow had come far. Many mages had earned sanctuary, they were discovering more about the forest they had made their home, and with Oakthur the Tree Guardian out of the picture, there was talk of expansion. Indeed, things were looking up for the mages of the Hollow, their troubles in the outside world a thing in the past. It was a day to celebrate a bright future. At the very least, it seemed rather bright.

Carefully navigating through the crowd of people Aldian intended to move someone more, open. There were quite a bit of people here, which made it a little bit crowded for his tastes. Once he manoeuvred through everyone in a polite fashion he was finally free, to an extent. This part of the Garden wasn't very full, there were a few people here and there so things were fairly quiet. It felt nice really, being here listening to the songs the Bards had most likely played for many other Wedding events such as this. The music was soothing as he looked about. He saw a few couples here and there, whether they were married or not he couldn't tell, however he hoped most of them the best. That was in an indirect manner of course, he didn't really tell them that, because he hadn't met them before. And to be perfectly honest he hadn't really met that many people here in the Hollows since he'd arrived.
Taking a small sip of his drink now, which was an alcoholic beverage, he thought about how he shouldn't be drinking at his age. It wasn't like it was illegal, from what he knew, but it was best to only have one glass of the stuff. He didn't really know what it was, some type of red wine probably. Going with the flow he simply grabbed what he saw other people drinking, not really in the mood to be left out here. It tasted sort of funny really, but he would probably get use to it over the various events he might attend at the Hollows. "Shame I don't know anyone here. . ." He muttered as he saw various people walk past him. Honestly, he didn't even know the names of the couple getting married. He only know they came from the founding families, or that's what he heard anyway. And even if he did hear their names, which he was sure he hadn't, it was quite clear he wouldn't remember them.
