Some people might be attracted by his cheerful nature, I guess? Either way, I don't see him having too much difficulty making friends. Though those who do get friendly with him, Eldak's super protective, possibly due to his past experience of losing plenty of people he cared for. He understands freedom though, so he's not overbearing. To those who end up good friends with this little elf, expect a fearsome guardian warrior by your side!
enemies People get on his nerves very easily, but he's quite quick to forgive. Nevertheless, some might permanently tick him off by being constantly gloomy and pessimistic, he's quite the lively individual.
Some might hate or fear his violent side, and an enemy of a friend is an enemy of his. He'll barge into any sort of battle to defend an ally. Eldak's also a little more cautious of humans, especially since he didn't interact much as a child. lovers Not a top priority for him, especially since he has problems settling down due to his restless nature. Though if he really does love someone he'll do anything and everything for them. The elf values emotional connection above everything else, though he's not a sappy romantic type. others Also as a side note, he's not sure if any of his previous friends are still alive, so if anyone wants to create a character that is an old friend he presumed dead or even a distant relative, it's totally awesome! old acquaintances and whatnot are also totally open!

so you say lovely Eldak here made a name for himself as a pirate by the name of red buccaneer yeah? if there's anything that makes a good story to a troubadour it is a pirate and especially a fantastic magic-using elven pirate of the seas. so basically what i'm proposing for a plot is that since eldak is a li'l well-known for his plundering deeds Brae could know of him and, more than that, actually have been telling stories abooout him?
okay yes for a short introduction brae is a wandering minstrel – kinda a con-man too but he's sort of out of commission for that — who's been all over the place really regaling people about ~FOLK HEROES :9 we don't have to go this direction or anything but it seems like it could be super amusing given the inevitable false truths that happens with story-telling? a.k.a., it is likely brae could have some fantastic stories about eldak that are entire exaggerations of what he's done, maybe things he has actually done or otherwise things he hasn't done in a terrifying troubadour game of telephone you get what i mean?? 8) basically, eldak ends up somehow the subject of some of brae's stories and tbqh sounds like fun way to start plots :9
because if you don't like that, i feel like it'd be interesting seeing these two get along as friend? THEY'RE BOTH HELLA VIBRANT PEOPLE but eldak is something more passionate and brae adores passionate people! plus, pirates have gotta have good stories somehow i could see brae just itching hear some, or even assassin though i'm not sure how upfront eldak is about that career choice?
i mean, the one dividing thing is that eldak seems to have a strong moral centre in that altho he does dodgy things he'd RATHER NOT?? whereas brae does not have that sense at all sooo i think they might clash eventually *w* yeah!
but yes somehow SUBJECT OF STORIES if you're up for that? otherwise, i could think friends but also does eldak like to drink at all :9

Eldak and Brae will definitely get along! I love the idea of him being the subject of some stories xD Eldak will probably just be bewildered and be all "hold on a moment", but not get angry and instead laugh and become good friends because that's just who he is. Eldak's a little more closed off when revealing his stories, when plundering he kind of minimised contact and even helped out a couple of the naval armies in exchange for various things. Basically he wanted treasure but tried not to be too mean when doing so. He has a little insane side at times, but since then has suppressed that insanity. As for his assassin job, he'll probably start complaining about unreasonable clients or something equally trivial. AW YUS FRIEND ACQUIRED <3

Fancy meeting another elf in town? Of course you would. Sil would be interested in that, too. He runs a weapons store in the market district--another thing that would interest your pirate. Stop by sometime and we'll how their personalities mesh.
