Saki has long and straight black hair and grey-blue eyes. She stands at about 157 cm and is slender with a small chest. Her skin is fair and has a yellow undertone to it.
She is usually seen with either a serene smile or no expression on her face.
Her build is deceptive lithe. She is rather strong from moving fertilizers, soil, and other heavy things for her plants. Her hands are callused and you may see some paint on them or on her face if you catch her when or after she’s been painting.
She usually wears a long, baggy, green robe with yellow trimmings that has large inner pockets. In these pockets, you may find scalpels, tiny bottles of potions, pens, and candy. Under her robe, she wears a white tank top, brown shorts, thigh-high black socks and black boots. She also keeps a satchel of medical supplies and seeds with her for emergencies.
She wears earrings: a chip of emerald in her left earlobe and a chip of sapphire in her left.
★ PERSONALITY
Saki is a serene child, able to think things through rationally. She is cautious and shy, takes time to open up to others and dislikes conflict. She has a deep-seated loyalty to the mages of Dercha Hollow who cared for and raised her since she was twelve. She is willing to give her life up for her people and home.
She takes some time to get close to strangers and when she does open up, there is a sense of detachment to her. Emotional involvement doesn’t come easily to her. She likes her alone time and personal bubble. Most of her time, she can be found tending to her plants or painting when not tending to patients.
She has a fear of lightning and thunder.
★ HISTORY
Saki is of Asian descent. Her father, Zi Hui Liang, was a Chinese herb merchant who met her Japanese mother, Kinuko, when he was browsing through a marketplace and came upon her embroidery. After two months of courting, they got married and had Saki.
Saki was a well-travelled child. Her parents brought her along when they travelled as soon as she was old enough to run. She is fluent is Chinese and Japanese, and can converse well enough in a smattering of other languages like English and German.
She never showed signs of her magic as a child, and her rapid healing was attributed to the healing herbs her father used. It is noted, however, that she has a green thumb. Anything she grew tended to be sturdy and resilient against diseases. There may have been a tiny suspicion growing in her parents’ minds that she was magically gifted but they ignored it because they knew mages are not well-received by most. As such, Saki grew up not knowing that she was magical.
This changed when she was twelve. The ship her parents were on was caught in a storm. The ship was wrecked and her parents perished as a result. Saki was able to survive as her parents had made sure that she was on the lifeboat though they couldn’t make it themselves. Unfortunately, the lifeboat was sunk as well a few hours after they managed to escape the ship.
Saki was washed ashore and found by a few mages who recognized her as a mage when they saw her wounds healing rapidly in front of their eyes. They brought her to Dorcha Hollow where she was cared for and taught to use her magic.

PRIMARY SPECIALIZATION
YI SHEN (doctor)
Saki has an affinity for healing and medicines. She has always healed quickly and rarely got sick. When she does get sick, it takes a lot less time for her to recover from illness.
SEICHOU(grow)|Earth
As can be inferred from her primary specialization, this is a spell used mostly for healing. What it does is cause the cells around a wound to reproduce, closing wounds and mending bones quickly. It uses the magic of its caster and the physical energy of the patient to work. Thus, the patient may feel tired after being healed and will need sustenance and rest to recover. The larger the wound, the more magic and energy it needs, the more exhausted the patient will be after healing.
It can also be used to reproduce antibodies, antitoxins and such to combat diseases but this will need a lot more magic. On the flipside, it doesn’t consume more energy than usual from the patient.
This spell can only be used if the cell is present in the patient. If, for example, a disease that can be combated by an antibody that exists in Alice but not in Bob attacks Bob, Saki will not be able to heal Bob.
It may be used to regrow hair and nails but not appendages. More skill is needed for that.
The speed at which she mends the bones depends on the size of the bone. She can heal one thigh-bone per post or three phalanxes per post. Wounds about the size of her hand spread out(a circle with a radius of maybe 7 cm) take a post to heal. as for diseases, it depends on the severity of the disease. The common flu might take two posts, chicken pox three posts and small pox four.
ZHENDUAN (diagnose) | Earth
Sends a wave of the caster’s magic through a patient’s body to find aberrances and injuries in the patient’s body. The more expert the caster, the less magic it requires. The more magic it uses, the brighter the glow the magic emits. Saki's magic is green in colour.
Saki doesn’t use this if she can help it if there are many patients as it requires more magic than she cares to expend since her expertise is not very high.
QINGCHU (purge) | Earth/Water
Removes unwanted substances from a patient's body such as toxins and dead cells. These substances will escape the patient's body mostly through their orifices or sweat. Patients may experience diarrhoea, colourful waste products, thirstiness and such.
As Saki is only a beginner, she can only remove dead cells and low-level poisons.
SECONDARY SPECIALIZATION
SHOKUBUTSU NO MUSUME (Daughter of Plants)
Saki has an affinity for plants and is able to shape and manipulate them. She uses this mostly to grow medicinal herbs and fruits.
DONG(move) | Earth
Able to move and manipulate plants. As she is only a beginner, Saki moves them slowly . For now, she can manipulate parts of a plant like branches and roots freely(practically no time at all) but to move a whole plant, she needs time(half a meter per post).
Zhang (grow) | Earth
Though this has the same meaning as her primary specialization, it means something rather different. This is a spell to make seeds sprout and grow as well as supplement the growth of flora. For now, seedlings can grow to only her waist and will take a little time(2 posts) to grow.
