gd day kris it's nicola here for plots cuz what can i say Danyal Brights's lovely and i want to social network it up with this bad boy! and in terms of plots what i can definitely say is that Brae also travelled around before he came to dorcha hollow! so if they were both moving around for various reasons, i think it's possible these two could have known each other before now. MAYBE??

because otherwise, danny is a lot more introverted that brae "will talk until he runs out of breath" lovet so i think it would be very interesting in terms of a somewhat cautious relationship? i feel like they'd be on their guard around each other IDK especially since brae is a bit of a pryer who loves to get information out of people which is something of a dislike for danny here! B)

obviously danny has gained a feel of camaraderie with the people of dorcha hollow which i expect brae would be fairly nosy, defs bordering on slight rudeness, about HEHEHE

because i was thinking if they previously known each other it could have both been in a circumstance where they were vaguely covering for their magic talent! and brae did this often with the intention of taking advantage of people by stirring up anti-magic panic and taking advantage of it oops BUT frankly i think them recognising each other could work – at the very least, it'd give brae a chance to bother less social danny all like “i think i know you from somewhere” and wouldn't rly let it drop

BUT UM CAUTIOUS I MEAN brae would be nice to him but i don't feel like they'd trust each other b/c let's face it brae isn't trustable and danny's got a good thing going!! and brae would bother danny vaguely friendly bothering or at the very least ask him to drink with him because, well, brae going to assert that danny MUST be bored in dorcha hollow okay omg

BASICALLY…. WARY FRIENDSHIP WHERE THEY DONT RLY TRUST EACH OTHER, veiled dislike even?? YES BRAES NARCISSISM WOULD PERMIT SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO WORK but please feel free to add something or totally revise it into something that'd work better!
