WRAITH
Description: Wraiths do not usually have a physical or visible form other than their Heart, which is a black orb with a moving swirl inside of it, the color of the swirl depending on the Element of the Wraith, which can be anything except Dark or Light. If a Wraith's Heart is in peril of being destroyed or stolen and the Wraith hasn't been temporarily banished or subdued, it will take on a shadowy physical form, which can be in the shape of anything the Wraith can think of. This physical form can be killed, but is more powerful and aggressive than its incorporeal form. Wraiths are creatures of pure evil, and are extremely dangerous. Their Hearts are highly valuable and useful as extremely powerful crafting materials, but require the poacher to kill the Wraith the hard way, as a banished or subdued Wraith will be back before long. So you must ask yourself: is it worth the risk?
Location: Wraiths can appear in any enclosed or underground area. They despise sunlight, so they will never appear in any location that can be reached by natural sunlight.
Abilities: When a Wraith's heart resides in an area, that Wraith will have an effect on that area. Intruders will find the location to gradually become darker, in addition to another effect which varies depending on the Wraith's Element, but will always result in the intruder's death, should they dally for too long. When taking a physical form, Wraiths can shapeshift, fly, and phase through physical objects should they have time to react to it. Wraiths can also cast random spells of their Element and the Dark Element. Wraiths are highly resistant to their Element and Dark.
Weaknesses: Wraiths will avoid sunlight at all costs, and naturally the Light Element is extremely harmful to them. Other elemental weaknesses depend on the type of Wraith. The easiest way to kill a Wraith is to destroy its Heart, which is usually well-hidden, but will not take much effort to break. Advanced Light spells, Blood Magic, and certain powerful artifacts are capable of banishing or subduing a Wraith, but a Wraith cannot be banished by the same trick twice. A Wraith can only be killed by destroying its heart or killing its physical form, though it can be banished in either form.
