CHANNELING ESSENCE
Inkwall || Beginner: This support spell is conjured up by the dark element. By waving one's arm in any direction they please, they can create a solid, shadowy wall from their fingertips. This black shadow wall is large enough to shield the user from one side of their choosing. If two squeeze close together, it could be large enough to shield both. The wall, at lower levels is thin, and would do little against physical attacks, but it can be used to soak up the damage of some spells. Of course, spells of the light variety can pierce straight through it, and higher levels spells will easily break through the wall as well. Beginner level spells can be blocked most of the time, intermediate spells can have their damage reduced, and advanced spells are likely to have their full effect. The wall stands for as long as the user stays still and concentrates, but it can only be sustained in this way for two posts at most.
