Description: Maaren must hold an herb in his hands, crush it as best as he can, and drain the power from it. The herb begins to rot and wither as he does this.
Effects: Without properly preparing an herb for consumption, Maaren can drain a small amount of its power to use a weak effect that the herb may grant an item once crafted. This amount is very small, because the herb is still in an unrefined state. Once this spell is used, the herb is rendered unusable.
