Description: The Dorcha Falcon is the fastest bird in all the forest. They can be found throughout the Dark Forest, but there is consistently a large amount of them in the Crann Mór. Their feathers vary from a pure white to a dark brown with all shades shades in between and often spotted patterns. Getting too close to the bird itself may prompt an attack, though their diet consists of small prey. The Dorcha Falcon makes a formidable foe with its immense speed that has to be the result of their magical environment.
Uses: Everyday feathers are useful for all sorts of crafts because of the strong association flying creatures have with the skies and the wind element. With their magically enhanced speed, however, the Dorcha Falcon drops feathers that are more powerful than other varieties for enchantments and crafts that harness wind.
Location: Dorcha Falcons are found in every location in the Dark Forest, especially the Crann Mór. It is only likely to find feathers separate from the birds themselves in the Crann Mór, though. Otherwise, an encounter with the dangerous bird of prey may be necessary.
