But wait... it's not Easter

Looks like a little Time Wizard made a mistake and sent all of the Easter Eggs into the future! Because of this, hundreds of eggs are appearing all around Dorcha Hollow and Foraoise Dorcha. What could be hidden in these eggs though? Magical prizes that any magic user can make use of!

Rules of the Hunt!

Twice a day, you can post in the Event Thread in the four designated areas: Éadrom Square, Naofa Gardens, Solas Circle, and Loch Dorcha. In this post, your character must find an egg in some creative manner. The better the post, the better chances you have of finding a rarer egg. You won't know what kind of egg you get until the end of the day when everyone's Eggs are handed out. However, if you wish to switch to a new area, you must spend one of your two posts to do that, thus missing out on getting a second egg for the day.

Prizes!

What's in the eggs you ask? Well, so you know what you want to aim for, here's a detailed list of the eggs you can find and what could be inside of them. These prizes will be awarded at the end of the Event.

Plain Egg | Nothing special, but can be traded in for 10 Essence

Green Egg | Looks like there are materials inside! You have a chance at obtaining one of these:

Red Egg | Looks like there is an item inside! You have a chance at obtaining one of these:

Sparkling Blue Egg | A rare, glittery egg that fills you with power, and teaches you a new Intermediate Level Spell!

Sparkling Purple Egg | A rare, glittery egg. But wait! This one doesn't just seem to be a fake egg. Something alive is squirming inside. Could it be a Wizard's Familiar?


The Sparkling Eggs are the rarest prize you can get, and as such, there is only one of each per area, making 4 Sparkling Blue Eggs and 4 Sparkling Purple Eggs in all. Once one in a specific area has been claimed, it is gone and is best to move on to a new area. There is an unlimited amount of the other three eggs though.

At the end of the event, the staff will have a thread for claiming prizes and trading in any eggs you do not want. In this phase, you will learn what prize is in any egg that has a randomized prize inside, or what Familiar is in the Purple Egg. If you would prefer, you can trade in eggs for Essence before you check what is inside. In the case of the Plain Eggs though, this is all you can do.

This event will last until May 12, so you have two weeks to find some prizes!
