Description: Steel is a simple enough alloy to make, and is stronger than the more common iron. Weapons made from this will deal greater damage and armor made from it will block more damage. This material can only be created by someone with skill in smithing, and using it to create something requires even more. Metals as a rule are not the best for use in enchanting and other practices, but because of the component coal, this metal is completely resistant to magic. It has already been used in the war against magic, though its potential does not seem to have been fully realized by those on the non-magical side. Armor made of this material will be able to completely block any magic it comes in contact with.
Uses: As an essentially raw material, steel has near endless potential: it can be forged into weapons and armor among other objects, though the former is a much more common use.
Effects: Disperses magic.
