DEACH ELNIA
Description: It's actually fairly possible to mistake the Deach Elnia for a common deer, just a really colourful one at that. The average male stands around 170cm at the withers, with the females at 165cm. Long slim legs end in reptilian claws, and their tail is long and muscular, used for balance not unlike a cat and closely resembling that of a lion. Their head is wedge shaped and the ears are long and feathered, with large antlers extending between those ears. While males may bear a full rack of antlers like a adult buck, females tend to don a short yet sharp horn protruding from the centre of their forehead. These creatures are omnivorous, and have a set of deadly teeth easily visible outside their mouth. Inspired by this
Location: They are found just about everywhere and anywhere, with the majority of their 3-4 sized herds making their home near water sources.
Abilities: The Deach Elnia's black tongue is forked like a serpents, and the saliva containing a strange substance that is non-fatal to humans, only causing itches and rashes but fatal to smaller prey. The reptilian feet are able to grip onto just about any or all surfaces as well as seriously maim an opponent, and the bones of the Deach ELnia extremely tough. It just so happens that this creature is easily tamed with the correct materials, though many who have tried bear scars. It is used as a form of transport in regions where creatures such as horses or donkeys are unable to travel, or even as a guard "dog" as the Deach Elnia is fiercely territorial.
Weaknesses: The Deach Elnia have a weakness against the element of fire, and are easily blinded by light. They are attracted to shiny objects. A well-aimed fire spell or blow can kill a Deach Elnia, though often they can be fenced in (in captivity) by a well maintained metal fence.
