While few venture into the forest often, it is easy enough to see that something is off in the Solas Circle today. Underneath the glowing mushrooms you can see small colorful objects. They appear to be eggs, and they look far to small to be monster eggs. What could they be doing there? Maybe it is a blessing from the forest itself, and it is your duty to search under every mushroom, and in every notch in every tree to find them! Update: The Sparkling Blue Egg has been found by Evanesca!
The Sparkling Purple Egg has also been found!

Maaren had been to the Solas Circle before, usually on business. Though, he wasn't quite sure if he could call herbalism a business. Collecting herbs was more of a hobby for him, a distraction. He didn't gain any compensation, monetary or emotional, but some part of him said that he enjoyed doing it. Maaren liked to trust those little impulses and sweet voices in his head. They were usually right. Today though, as he traveled into the dark forest, and came upon the illuminated clearing, Maaren could already tell that something was different. He didn't need to strengthen his eyes with magic to tell. No, it was not a matter of seeing, but a matter of feeling. Maaren felt warmth run down his spine, then branch off to seep through his arms and ended at his fingertips. Normally his arms felt cold, limp, mostly useless, but he knew this feeling as well. There was a strong magical presence of some kind, one he was not familiar with. Where could it be? What was it? Maaren walked deeper into the clearing. Every so often he would close his eyes so they did not distract him from sensing out where the presence was coming from. Eventually, he stopped in front of a cluster of grasses, not herbs that he could make use of, but plain and ordinary ones. This was the source? Maaren swiped his hand through the herbs, releasing their strong scent into the air. He frowned. Such useless hands. He swiped through the grasses again, this time catching a glimpse of something of a different color within them. He tilted his head to the side. Reaching down into the grass, he felt around until he was sure his hand hit something solid, and slowly tried to coax it out from the grass clusters. The object eventually rolled out from the weak force of Maaren's hand. An egg? It didn't look like a monster's egg, that was for sure. So what kind of egg was it? Maaren closed his eyes again, and could feel the presence emanating from that egg. Well, that was it. He scooped the egg up with his basket, one that had originally been intended for herbs. Perhaps he could figure out its secrets later.

Maaren inspected his little egg. The smooth shell was white in color, and Maaren felt that if his hands could muster any more strength, he might crush the little thing. That wouldn't be good. If it were a monster's egg, he would be taking the life of an unborn thing if it broke, assuming of course the egg was fit to bear a living creature anyway. Somehow Maaren doubted that. It was warm, that was for sure, but not the same kind or warmth from eggs that had been sitting under a hen for a few days, eggs that were warm and stirring with life. This little white egg felt much different. How peculiar. Originally Maaren had come to the Solas Circle for herbs, but now the egg had piqued his interest. Were there more? Maybe he could make some use of them, and if not they would be pretty decorations or he could barter at the market for some more useful materials. At the very least he'd probably run across some herbs if he was looking for eggs instead. It was funny how you always found the things you weren't looking for, and never found the thinks you actually sought out. From a nearby tree, Maaren heard a shriek. Not the cry of a human, but one he recognized as the cry of a bird creature that lived in these woods. He looked up to find the dull colored bird waving its wings about as it sat in its nest. It appeared to be frightened, or confused, at least Maaren thought so. He wasn't much of an animal whisperer. The bird sat up from its nest and began to hop about, until it stopped and started squawking again at something in its nest. Maaren tilted his head to the side, took a few steps closer, and watched the scene play out. He then saw the bird try to shove something out of its nest with it's talon. Another egg! Maaren's eyes widened and his limp arms tensed up. He needed to act quickly else the egg would fall to the ground and break, probably. Well, he couldn't risk whether it would or not. Damn his useless arms. If he could only jump over to catch the egg and cradle it in his hands. No, but perhaps he could use his curse for something. Maaren narrowed his eyes and concentrated on the egg, and a reddish hue flooded into his eyes like they were filling with blood. Dark tendrils sprouted up from the ground and waved about, though not from the wind. The shadowy sprouts grew thicker and thicker until they seemed less like shadows and more like tangible black tentacles. When the egg finally tilted over the side of the bird creature's nest, the tendrils shot up and coiled themselves around the egg, catching it before it could fall to its doom. The bird, frightened by the shadow magic, squawked again and flew off. Maaren sighed, and moved closer to the tendrils he willed into existence. Slowly the shadowy wisps sunk down and lowered the egg into Maaren's basket until they faded away completely. A bit tired, but also relieved, Maaren sank to the ground himself and looked at the eggs in his basket. Now he had two.

She was snoozing away, curled up on a tree branch. Creaking and shifting to the wind, the girl shifted her body, and then suddenly her entire body plumetted, landing face first on the ground. Legs flailing in the air for a moment, she finally tipped over, and landed on her knees, pulling her face out of the ground. ''Well talk about a face plant.'' she said, pulling a couple of weeds off her face. With a few brushes, she had shoved the dirt away, and let out a sigh, looking around her. Where had she fallen asleep this time, out of boredom and laziness? This was probably a problem, but the magician didn't really care to think about it other then it just happened. So check: in a forest like environment. Meaning either out in the forest, or.. in the initial expanse, because the monsters hadn't tried to lynch her or something. The girl yawned, and brushed away at her face, making sure all of the dirt was gone. With another noise, she shifted her body, realizing she was in the Solas Circle. Namely because she could see normally, the girl stretched her hand and touched the petals of a bell flower. It was so tranquil here, and she didn't want to move really. The blue haired woman let out another yawn, and then cracked her neck. She didn't feel like doing anything, and would lie back down on the grass, if her instinct wasn't twitching like bacon on a pan. Something was.. weird.. here? The girl sniffed at the air, and no, there wasn't a leak or anything. Not that she would be able to tell, but hey she had to do something. With a groan, she got to her feet, and scratched in the open neckline of her dress, letting out a satisfied noise when she was finished scratching it. Perhaps she was just doing everything but moving forward, spending more time being lazy and not going and just stacking whatever she can think of to prevent her from moving. Totally. With a final groan, the girl began to move her legs, moving forward about two steps before she tripped on something, and dropped on the ground yet another time that day. 'Man you'd think even the world wants me to be lazy at this point.' she thought to herself, as she just slid on the ground, spinning her body to face what she had decidedly ended up tripping on, her eyes staring at the object. ''What in the name of the pun-nun is this?'' she muttered aloud, trying to reach over to see the lump in the ground. Though, her hand couldn't quite reach, because she forgot to account she was upside down, so she ended up groping around in the bush. The poor bugs that had to dodge her fingers. And finally, she grabbed the lump, and pulled it out, making it fly with a pop, and have it land right on her chest, safe and sound. Good thing she totally had throwing skills right? And it landed on her chest, but started to slide off. With another audible curse, the girl snatched the object, and then looked at it. It was round and soft, as her fingers could just feel a sort of.. warmth from it? Her gaze landed on it, noticing how it was egg shaped, and it was.. sparkling? The glow of the egg, the gentle wash of the sparkles made her fascinated. Woah, this was not something that could just be found any day. The teacher softly slipped another hand around it, observing the egg further, as the sparkles on the dark blue shade made her think of stars. Beautiful, enchanting stars. That made up her mind, since it was even the same colour as her hair. With a crack and a groan, the girl sat up. Softly sliding the egg in her cleavage, she made sure that it was nice and snug, wouldn't accidentally slip out and fall or something. Luckily her chest was big enough to hold it safe, as the girl adjusted her top, and then nodded to herself. Getting to her feet again, and brushing off all of the dirt on her body, she just bounced towards the meadow she could see near by, sitting just outside of it's circle. She made sure to tread ground carefully this time, and not randomly slip and crack her head or something like that. Although it was a good way to find eggs, her body was going to protest that treatment. With a snap, her fingers snaked out, and caught something. It was a small, snake like thing, and it had been trying to sneak into her cleavage. She wasn't that blind, as she threw the montser away, letting it fly in the air. The poor thing made a tiny screech, as these creatures hated to be apart from the ground. The witch just let out a self-satisfied smile, as she was going to step, but stopped. Why did that thing want the egg in her girly attributes? Pft, it was pretty silly when you thought about it But it made her rethink her strategy. With a tap on her chin, she spotted a sapling.. one that she could shake, but it was still decently big. With a mental cackle, she slowly slid up to it, and then wrapped her hand around the base of the tree.. and shook it like it was a Polaroid picture. Poor nest, didn't even see it coming, as the creatures tumbled out with small, cute screeches, and slithered away like nobody's business. Nope, they probably didn't want to deal with this rude as fark witch that just decided to make the world a not so stable place. They were probably screaming bloody murder in their heads as the lazy teacher figured this was a perfectly lazy way to harvest eggs. After all... they probably gathered a few right? She was still giggling inside of her head, when she just felt something drop on it with a solid thunk. And then she fell face first into the ground. The object landed safely on her butt however. So she'd be able to look at it.. in a minute, after this quick nap. WORDS: 0536 TAGS: event. MUSIC: Path :: Apocalyptica NOTES: Talk about dropping in, pfthahaha

Now Maaren had two little white eggs in his basket. He wondered what they were even doing here in the forest in the first place. Certainly they didn't belong. The bird creature made that quite clear. So why were they here? Maaren shook his head, knowing that endless questions would get him nowhere. It would be best to find more if he wanted to learn something. It was then that Maaren heard a series of strange noises from further in the forest. A loud thump, then silence. Then a series of high pitched shrieking noises, another thump, and then more silence. Did this have something to do with the mysterious eggs? Maaren decided to investigate. Standing back up, he tried to follow the direction the noises came from. Was it a creature? Those screeches sure didn't sound human, but they didn't sound like those bird creatures either. As Maaren made his way deeper, past tall glowing bell flowers and other bright flora, he noticed something slither by his feet. It was a small snakelike creature, one Maaren hadn't seen in the forest before. However, he had only visited this particular section a few times before, so of course there was new fauna to be found every time. The creature didn't seem to notice Maaren, or at least didn't bother itself with him. Instead, it kept slithering by in a frenzy as if it were escaping from a dreadful predator. Maaren tilted his head to the side at the sight, but kept walking. Eventually he saw more of the snake creatures, this time in a bigger group. As they slithered by, the Warlock noticed that they were carrying something with them. Another egg! How strange. Did these eggs belong to the snake creatures? They seemed much to big to bear such small reptiles though, but reptiles did hatch from eggs. It was possible, but the aura around the egg didn't match the one that surrounded the little snakes. Maaren reached down and picked up the egg from the snakes' backs. After doing so, the snakes scattered, no longer having a reason to stick together and carry their load. Putting the egg in his basket, Maaren continued on his way. Not long after though, he found the body of a woman, face planted into the ground by a young tree. She had a bright red egg balanced on her backside, and Maaren could see the shell of a sparkling egg peaking out from between her breasts. How strange. The woman didn't look like she was just taking a leisurely nap though. That position didn't look very comfortable. "Are you in need of any assistance?" Maaren called out to her, knowing full well that he probably couldn't do much. His magics could not heal, and his arms were of no use either. Still, they say it's the thought that counts, right?

Initially, Daja had been very excited about the egg hunt. Eggs were a delicacy after all, and could be cooked in a variety of ways that involved butter and fire. Besides, they appeared to be free, which appealed to Daja's business sense. After all, the best meals tended to be free.
Then precisely two minutes after her excited planning began, she learned that they weren't real eggs, per say. At least the kind that you wanted to eat.
Needless to say, her interest had waned considerably after that.
Her interest was piqued a few days later, when she discovered that these eggs had prizes. And not just little prizes, like pieces of candy, like you'd find in egg hunts for children, but magical prizes. Like perhaps a bit of magical ore, that could be smelted down and made into something else (and then blatantly shown off in a desperate bit to attract customers). Daja almost salivated at the thought.
What she did do; however, was grab a basket and her hammer (for safety) and run out into the wild like she was a little child. She headed to Solas Circle first, because that's where she'd hid a magic egg hunt, if she were a Time wizard. The clearing had enough interesting little spaces to hid eggs in, but was safe enough that if some entrepreneuring child decided to join they wouldn't be immediately eaten by magical beasts. It offered the barest sense of danger, while still remaining fairly safe. She congratulated herself on the brilliant plan and immediately began turning over mushrooms.
An hour later, she was cursing and nearly tearing out the rest of her hair. She'd found an interesting looking rock, which was shaped like a heart, a couple of red aromatic flowers, and a leaf the size of her palm. Needless to say, while she'd put all of these things in her basket, none of these things were eggs. Apparently, this time wizard was more devious than she'd originally imagined. Either that, or she was just the worst egg hunter, ever.
Probably the latter.
Of course, this just filled her with more determination to find a stupid egg. The best stupid egg. She kicked over a mushroom. No egg. She would find a stupid egg even if she had to destroy the entire forest to do so. She paused, remembering that she could summon flames. Maybe, she'd wait at least another hour before she started destroying the forest.
Or you know, be a responsible adult and look somewhere else. Yeah, she'd probably go with that one.
With a dramatic sigh, Daja collapsed on the ground. Today was not going exactly how she imagined it. Though being named Queen of the Eggs probably wasn't a realistic goal. Daja put her chin in her hand, and began to chew the inside of her cheek. She needed a new attack plan. Maybe she was thinking about this all wrong. She should round up some kiddies from town, and send them out to collect for her. Multiple eyes, multiple grubby little paws. She just needed to figure out how to pay them. One egg per every five they found? That might work; kids were dumb.
Daja's mind was instantly distracted from her child labor, pyramid scheme, by the sight of a mushroom ten feet in front of her. Well, not the mushroom, but what was precariously balanced on top of it. Daja started laughing.
The best, stupid egg ever.
She stood, still giggling, but was interrupted by a crash. Scooping up the stupid egg, she ran off towards Maaren and Evanesca's direction, intent on figuring out what had just happened.

The woman didn't want to move. She really didn't want to be active anymore. She was lazy as all hells you see when she wasn't serious, and she didn't even want to make a noise. The woman just let herself stay there, hoping she didn't get a concussion, because that might explain her sudden lethargy. It was nice, mossy floor, probably with a whole bunch of bugs, but eh, who cared. The poor snake thingies, she would have to remember what monster they were. Those were generally innocent, or even more so, non-aggressive monsters as they got scared of leaving the ground. So they didn't often attack, since that would require rearing up. But sometimes, an unlucky mage got bit because they let one crawl on them, thinking they were passive. Although she doubted they would want to crawl on her, namely because she scared the bejeesus out of them. Just like that voice that just randomly sliced the air. ''WOAH PUN-NUN ON WHEELS.'' she exclaimed, pretty loudly, bolting upwards. And then she noticed the red egg tumbling out of her backside, and snatched it with one hand, before placing it in her cleavage with the other egg. Nice and snug. And then, she turned to face the person that had startled her, and blinked, before laughing. ''Oh jeez, I thought it was one of the old geezers. Jeez, you gave me a scare like nobody's business. But that's okay, that's okay. Name's Evanesca, and I was fine, just probably a minor concussion at worse, and just taking a quick nap at best!''Evanesca had started to speak, in her nonchalant and easy going tones. She really didn't want to worry the poor guy, so she had joked about the concussion, and just gave him a smile. Yeah, it was all okay, as she adjusted her bra again, to make sure the eggs didn't tumble out. She seriously needed to get a crafter to give her a never ending dimension pocket in there, so she could store all of her things in there. Would be so convenient, since she often lost any bag she carried with her. Well okay, she then realized, super awkward time had arrived, and the girl clapped her hands, seeing his basket. ''Ooooh so this ain't just me? Good. I was wondering if I was going nuts over these eggs showing up. I'mma look for some more, maybe not terrorize those poor things this time. I just get the feeling we should collect as many of these as we possibly can't.'' she said, giving off a grin. And then she saw. A flash in the distance. ''Hold that thought lad!'' she said, suddenly dashing towards him.. and then using his shoulders to pull her body up, and leap over him! Sure that was asking a bit in the athletic department, but everyone knows that big boobs were full of helium, so half of her job was done. Or at least, that's what she'd tell anyone asking okay. And with her catapult, she flew into a nearby tree. Trying to grab the egg some bird was pecking at.
