A Beach? In the Dark Forest? Impossible!

In the cavern of Uaimh Ceo, it appears that a bit of spacial magic is at work. Mages who normally went through one of the cavern's pathways now find themselves emerging onto the shores of a faraway beach, one that couldn't possibly be on the other side of the cave, or even the Dark Forest. Nonetheless, who wouldn't want to take advantage of the chance to finally see some sunlight?
To celebrate the summer season, members of Dorcha Hollow have decided to throw a big festival on the Ghrian Shores. There is to be sandcastle building, swimming and surfing, fishing, a swimsuit contest, and fireworks to top off the night. If you wish to start some other activities, I'm sure no one will object!
In order to participate in this event, you simply must post a thread with a topic of your choosing. The theme can be from any of the suggestions listed above, or something else beach related. Once you have completed a thread in the event, you will receive 40 Essence (double the normal amount), and a Mystery Magic Item granting you an extra spell. The magic item you obtain will be influenced by the activity you choose to participate in! You may also obtain other random materials and items, also depending on the subject of the thread.
All members who participated in the thread will receive these prizes, and you are free to participate in as many threads as you like. Just remember, if you don't finish the thread, you don't get the prizes!This event will last until June 20th, so go out and have some summery fun!
