MANIPULATE Intermediate
Description: Control of another being is tricky business, but can also be very rewarding. Through power over blood, a creature can be controlled and forced to act against their will. Blood, however, is separate from the brain. Of course you could harm someone through depriving that specific organ of blood, but this spell does not do such. A mortal will still have all their mental faculties; it is the body that is influenced. This spell is non-fatal. To perform it, one need only concentrate on the target (target must visible for the entire duration). The caster's eyes go black and even appear to emit some sort of sinister mist.
Effects: Allows the caster to control a target for a short time: three for less complex (animals) two for more powerful creatures (human-like or otherwise strong). If the target is powerful enough mentally or physically, they may be able to break the spell prematurely. The caster also has to concentrate on the spell, meaning he or she will not be able to do anything else while using this spell (cast other spells, walk, speak, etc). This also means that if concentration is broken, the target will be immediately freed. Actions the target can be forced to perform are limited to non-fatal activities: cannot be forced to harm itself, attack, nor use magic. CAN be forced to move, speak, and other relatively innocuous actions. Target must have blood to manipulate. Does not work on dead creatures.
