ElysiaEveline had been hanging around this red-saturated stream for around a week now. She hadn't been in the Hollow for long at all, and still had yet to come across her lost lover. Perhaps he would be drawn to this place as well. She could only hope. It was a beautiful place--to her at least. The color was enticing and even made her want to spill some blood. Not that it was hard to bring the girl's bloodlust out. Large flowers grew here and there, and Eveline knelt to pick one, thinking it would be pretty to wear in her hair. Without a beating heart, poison would have no effect on her. Well, if the thing were poisonous, that is. Eveline wasn't exactly an herbalist. But ah, the blessings of immortality were many. Out in the wild, she didn't really bother with disguising herself; there wasn't anyone out here to hide from. There might be the occasional mage that crossed her path, but it was no issue to hide from them. If they did discover her, though, it might result in fight were they able to make her as a vampire. Other than aimlessly skulking around the stream, Eveline was also out for a snack. She hadn't had a substantial meal in a few days since she was trying to leave the mortal population alone. Eveline was not accustomed to starving herself--and that's what it felt like she was doing. The longer she went without fresh blood, the more outwardly hostile she was likely to become.

Souls ran around the stream like bees to flowers. The stream reminded herself, and more than likely the souls, of home. And since she was not there to judge them, the lake would serve as a minor glimpse of home to the dead. The silver hair goddess jumped over one of the rocks. A soul couple smiled to her as she made her way through the trees along the stream's path.
From her experience here, almost no one was near the path. But her mortal self only visited her during the weekend – as to get away from her odd jobs. It was nice to talk to the souls once in a while. But something seemed off today. Elysia knew it be best not to push it. Though souls loved her in this state, that did not mean they would always listen to her – as some were hell bent on making her life hell until she fell back into position of being a full-fledged goddess again.
One of the souls mentioned another being in the area. But Elysia laughed it off – as it was one of the few that liked to fool her. Along the red flowers, she giggled, ignoring all the warnings as of now. Souls were funny creatures, or rather the remnants of ones.

Muttering. Giggling. Careless footfalls. Someone else was here! Eveline dashed behind a tree a bit away from the bank of the little stream. The stranger was still easy to see, out in the open. Eveline didn't even need a spell to locate her with how much noise she made (as if the vampire could talk: she wasn't too skilled in stealth herself). Didn't the floozy know there were... monsters in this forest? She didn't seem all too with it, talking to herself and all.
But that gave Eveline an idea. Maybe she could feed off the chick and make it look like a monster attack. Would anyone even miss her? The settlement was still new, that was evident in every quality of it. Either way, framing an anonymous monster would take any suspicion away from Eveline--and it's not like such an event would be an unprecedented occurrence.
Eveline watched for a few more minutes, dashing here and there. She kept to the shadows and made sure to stay out of view of the intruder, but she wasn't able to move silently. She should really work on that. Eventually, after enough spying, the girl walked out into the open as though she owned the place. It was time for the real play to begin. "Who might you be?" Still throwing malevolent looks at her company, Eveline's eyes went black and started emitting something that looked like smoke. The girl in front of her would feel her body tense up in response to the blood magic and would lose all control of herself. Eveline would force the body to freeze up while still allowing the woman control of her speech. This was an interrogation--or just some fun before Eveline fed.
