Description: This giant wolf is an uncommon sight in the forest. It is suspected that there is a pack, but they remain elusive to the people of the Hollow--which is probably best for all involved. Each individual wolf stands six feet at the shoulder, larger than any normal horse. If encountered, this creature will attack in an attempt to kill and feed off any humanoid; there are only so many things large enough that a monster this size could live off of. The color of their coat may vary from pure white to a dark tan, and is more often than not matted with blood and mud. Going anywhere near their intimidatingly large teeth is not recommended, especially with their powerful jaw.
Location: Found in the Settlement Outskirts or Foraoise Dorcha, this creature is rather rare.
Abilities: The wolves are almost pure muscle beneath that thick fur. As such, they have exceeding physical capacity: jaw strength to cut through the average tree and speed to outrun any mortal.
Weaknesses: With no elemental affiliations, this creature has no specific magic weakness. A well placed stab or slice with a sharp weapon may send it running, though. A good way to incapacitate one is to injure one of its legs--it's hard to run away at a fast pace on three legs instead of four.
