Carefully navigating through the crowd of people Aldian intended to move someone more, open. There were quite a bit of people here, which made it a little bit crowded for his tastes. Once he manoeuvred through everyone in a polite fashion he was finally free, to an extent. This part of the Garden wasn't very full, there were a few people here and there so things were fairly quiet. It felt nice really, being here listening to the songs the Bards had most likely played for many other Wedding events such as this. The music was soothing as he looked about. He saw a few couples here and there, whether they were married or not he couldn't tell, however he hoped most of them the best. That was in an indirect manner of course, he didn't really tell them that, because he hadn't met them before. And to be perfectly honest he hadn't really met that many people here in the Hollows since he'd arrived.
Taking a small sip of his drink now, which was an alcoholic beverage, he thought about how he shouldn't be drinking at his age. It wasn't like it was illegal, from what he knew, but it was best to only have one glass of the stuff. He didn't really know what it was, some type of red wine probably. Going with the flow he simply grabbed what he saw other people drinking, not really in the mood to be left out here. It tasted sort of funny really, but he would probably get use to it over the various events he might attend at the Hollows. "Shame I don't know anyone here. . ." He muttered as he saw various people walk past him. Honestly, he didn't even know the names of the couple getting married. He only know they came from the founding families, or that's what he heard anyway. And even if he did hear their names, which he was sure he hadn't, it was quite clear he wouldn't remember them.

Aldian carefully listened to the Appraiser now, and began to rethink the rumour he'd heard. Maybe this guy was a bit, crazy, he certainly didn't seem too normal. His offer was somewhat appealing, however he didn't want to get mixed up with the wrong crowd. He didn't seem too sane, nor normal, so he couldn't be any good for him. Grabbing his Amethyst Aldian made a mental note of the score, it wouldn't be too hard to remember. "I think I'll pass on giving you this." He said, before placing the precious stone within a pouch. "But, uh, thanks for the offer though Old Man." He said, before he speed walked away, rethinking the rumour he'd heard. So maybe the midget that spread the rumour wasn't mad at taller people.

Aldian quietly listened to the old man as he spoke. The old man certainly didn't look very, skilled, from his appearance. One would expect the founding family to at least hire someone that could take care of themselves. But either way, if they could trust him he could trust him. Sure, he'd heard rumours of the guy being creepy, although he also heard those were spread by a rather midget like character. Most likely case is the guy spread rumours about anyone taller than himself. After the old man finished with his speech he looked down at the little pouch he stored his precious stone in. Well, it was time to get them appraised, which wasn't much of a surprise. However he'd expected all of the stones to be given to the founding family, not just the bride and groom, but the relatives and so on. It was slightly disappointing, but there was nothing he could do.
After checking his stones for a good ten minutes Aldian decided that the Beautiful Amethyst he had found was surely the best of the stones he had picked. It took a few minutes for him to finally have his time with the appraiser, due to the line, but at least he got there. "Uh, I would like you to rate this." He said, pushing an Amethyst across the table towards the old man. "Also, I would like to trade these in." He said, placing an Okay Topaz, a Nice Emerald and a Nice Sapphire down upon the table.

Aldian felt a felt something nice and cool touch his smooth finger tips. Believing he had found a gem of sorts he stretched out his hand, trying to find what had touched his fingers once more. It took a few moments to find the object that had touched his hand, but he eventually found it. What he had found was a gem, which was green in colour. It took Aldian a few moments to realize what the gem was called, but he eventually figured out it was an Emerald. It looked fairly nice, and he adored the colour, since his favourite colour was green. Turning back Aldian made sure no one was watching him, before he turned the emerald over in his hands a few times. After a minute or so had passed he opened a small pouch that hung at his belt, before carefully placing the emerald inside. Making sure that the bag was secure around his waist he headed off into the caverns once more.
With a slight groan Aldian straightened his back, for it was starting to somewhat, hurt. "This far in and only one gem. . . ." He said, trying to look about in the cavern. It was almost pitch black, which probably meant it was a good sign to head back the way he came. Aldian took the warning that the darkness gave off, however he stretched for a few minutes. First he stretched his left arm, than his right arm, then his left leg, and so on and so forth. Nothing appeared to come out of the darkness, which was a blessing in his eyes. If he couldn't see what he was fighting he would be hopeless, considering how most of his magic simply goes in one direction.
Returning to his search for varying gems Aldian decided it would be best to get as down low as possible. Which, sadly, meant he was on his hands and knees searching. Moving his hands this way and that the only thing he ever found was rocks, rocks, and more rocks. And most of the time he would find those rocks by slamming his hand down upon them, which of course, was painful. If anyone else was in this part of the caverns they could hear the occasional yell of pain coming from his direction. It wasn't fun, searching for gems on his hand and feet, but he was determined to win a reward from the founding families. They might hand him out some grand job, a large sum of money, or some rare item or creature of sorts.
Slowly Aldian thought more and more about what rewards he might acquire for finding some priceless gems. This was slightly beneficial for his current situation, since it distracted him from the pain. However at the same time it was, not beneficial, since it could distract him from finding gems. These thoughts lasted for some time, although they ended when he felt something, strange, beneath his hands. It wasn't strange in the sense that it was slimy, it was strange in the sense that he was expecting it. Along with all him having felt for hours was dust, grime, and rocks. However what he felt was something, somewhat smooth, but rough. Looking very, very, very closely he noticed it wasn't a rock, but a gem of sorts. He couldn't quite identify what gem it was at the time, but that didn't matter too much, for he could figure it out later. Around this gem he felt two more precious gems that had a similar feeling, and a different colour. It was quite odd to find this many gems this close together, however he soon found the reason for their placing.
A little ways away from the precious stones was a cut pouch, and it was soaked. There was also some liquid spread about the floor near it. Not very fond with the scene at hand Aldian hastily got up before clutching the small pouch where he stored the precious gems he had found. With the pouch clutched in hand he began to sprint down the Caverns at a somewhat fast pace. With all the sound he was making it would be fairly obvious to anything around of his location. However he wasn't thinking about that at the time, he was simply thinking about getting out of the blasted caverns. The hasty goodbye to the caverns was caused by his belief that the owner of the pouch down there got mugged, or attacked. Whatever happened he didn't want to find out though, so he made like a fool and ran with all his might out of there.
Once at the entrance of the caverns Aldian stopped, and almost collapsed when he tried to sit down. With heavy breathing and sweat running down his face he had made it out of the Cavern. Although now he was getting some strange looks from people going in and out of the Caverns. It didn't bother him too much, what they thought of him, since he had gotten out of there alive, and with what he had looked for. After resting for a few minutes he opened the bag that he had clutched in his hand. The contents within, excluding the Emerald, looked rather strange, and unknown to him. One experienced with precious stones would be able to identify the stones in his bag in a heart beat however. There was Emerald, Amethyst, Topaz, and a Sapphire.

Carefully Aldian picked off the little twigs and such that had gotten stuck to his cloak. A few burrs here and there, and various other nasty bits of wild life that could be found in the Dark Woods. "I should have been more careful. . ." He grumbled as he picked off the burrs stuck to his favourite cloak. One by one he placed the burrs, leaves, and small twigs in a pile beside him. Every so often Aldian would look up at the entrance of the Cavern, in hopes to see the odd man he'd met before. He was freakishly tall, in Aldian's view at least. That might have been due to him simply not being very tall in the first place. Either way however, that wasn't the only thing that made him, unique, compared to others. With purple hair he stood out fairly easily, which was what lured him to his stall.
The man, which he later learned to be called "Kuroth," owned a stall that sold various grains, unique fruit, and nuts. Aldian had purchased some fruit and nuts from Kuroth before hitting up a conversation of sorts. It was a simple one, mainly about where he could acquire some materials that he could sell for a good price. He was new to Dorcha Hollow, and this guy was a salesmen, so it would be fairly likely that he knew where to find some good stuff. That's how Aldian viewed it anyway, and it seemed as if he was correct. However once Kuroth gave him the information he had asked for Aldian asked him if he wanted to "Tag along." Truthfully he was simply afraid that he would be killed while out in the Dark Forest, but he never mentioned that out loud. That conversation led to Aldian's current situation, where he was was picking stuff off his cloak, where he waited for Kuroth. Hopefully he wouldn't have to wait long at the entrance of the Caverns, for he had no clue as to what could come along and swallow him.

Natura Irae Beginner
Description: Natura Irae is triggered by extending one's hand. Concentrating the user images hail in there hand, if successful after a few moments the hail will begin to form. The hail travels as one, in a sense. Which basically means the user simply has to flick one, or blow one, of the pieces of hail in a certain direction, and the rest will follow.
Effects: Natura Irae summons forth what one might call "Nature's fury." This spell summons forth various pieces of hail that vary in size. Although it would be quite rare to find a piece that is larger than your hand, for that would require a much more, complex, spell. This hail can be directed, although it would be rather hard to alter its trajectory once launched. The hail which was summoned by this spell tends to melt after a short amount of time, and that rate at which it melts is shortened if it makes contact with warm objects. Such as fire, which can melt it at a rapid pace. ((1-2 posts))

Penetralis Glacies Beginner
Description: The user of this spell simply needs to outstretch their hand. After a few moments it will appear as if an icicle will appear. This icicle can simply be thrown at a target, or it can be directed more, finely. One way to move this icicle, which is generally floating one or two centimetres the hand, is to flick it in the intended direction. Or to simply blow it in the intended direction. This icicle will travel at a decent pace before hitting the intended, or unintended, target.
Effects: Penetralis Glacies summons forth a somewhat thick, and sharp, icicle in the users hand. It is of medium size, which is around the size of a full grown Man's fist, in length ((From wrist to knuckles.)) This spell does a medium amount of damage, and specializes in offensive uses. The icicle shatters after penetrating a substance, or when unable to it shatters on contact.

Lenis Beginner
Description: Lenis is used by tracing lines near the various openings in one's clothing. It is highly recommended that the lines be traced on the skin, or else the spell might not work properly. Meaning it could do have of its intended purpose. For the first opening the user would trace one line, and the second opening two lines, third opening three lines, etc. This is to allow the air flow in and out of the clothing properly. After all the lines have been traced the user simply has to blow on the first opening that was labelled before the spell will take its effect. The lines do not have to be retraced every time the spell is used, it only needs to be retraced daily. One simply needs to blow on the first opening labelled for the spell to do its work again.
Effects: Lenis is a simple support spell that is often casted during hot weather, or when one is wearing heavy clothing when in warm surroundings. This spell is cast on a creature, not an inanimate object. Lenis would create a breeze that travels along the skin. It simply cools the target off from warm clothing, like a cloak, or in hot weather. It does affect the clothing somewhat, if the user is wearing any. One might notice a flap every so often. In order for this spell to take effect the target must have openings in their clothing in various spots as to let the spell take its course. This spell doesn't work as well on large suites of armour, unless the power of the spell is increased. However that would be difficult at this stage, if not near impossible. ((Lasts 2-4 Posts))

Hastile Adustum Intermediate
Description: The user of this spell has to hold their hand out for a moment, before what appears to be a ball of ice appears. This ball of ice will rapidly grow larger until it's roughly a bit smaller than your hand. Once the ball of ice has grown to its full size the user simply needs to blow on the ice in the desired direction for the attack to go. Once blown upon the ball of ice will launch in the direction blown in. The ice appears to change into a shaft before colliding into the intended, or unintended, target.
Effects: This spell releases a shaft of freezing ice at a target. It deals a medium amount of damage while inflicting first, to third, degree frostbite. One would need a more complex version of this spell to inflict fourth-degree frostbite. The shaft of ice will shatter on contact after inflicting the varying level of frostbite. One might notice that the pieces of ice from the shaft melt at the same pace of regular ice. ((Cool down, 1-2 posts, varies on level of frostbite.))

Aldian watched as various people went in and out of the cave. He assumed that they too were looking for a precious gem to place upon the bride's ring. It was quite interesting really, to watch the different people walk in and out of the Uaimh Ceo caverns, considering how damp it was. But that probably didn't both them since there was an award involved. What kind of award it was Aldian wasn't sure, but it had to be a good one. After all, someone from one of the founding families was giving it out, so it had to be of great value, or high worth. Yawning now he stood up, he wasn't going to let everyone else get the gems! Carefully he looked about the ground with his hunched back. He probably looked like an idiot, but he was looking for something important, so it was somewhat understandable.
Carefully he scanned the ground in front of him with his not so perfect eyesight. Something had to be in here, hopefully. By now the others in search couldn't have already cleared out this part of the Caverns. Most of them were probably rushing, only looking for what was in plain sight. Believing that was it Aldian made sure to look in the darker parts of the cave, in the edges. He would stick his hand in here or there, hopefully not finding any viscous creatures. If they were hosting an even like this to find gems here there certainly wouldn't be any poisonous things. Maybe something that could bite, but those could be easily taken care of. With a few spells they would be gone, without a trace, kinda.

PENNA Beginner
Description: One must concentrate on the edge of their finger for a moment, any finger will due. After a few moments it will appear as if there's a current of wind flowing from your finger. It'll be weak at first, but you simply need to exhale a shaft of air to increase the distance of the spell. Or inhale deeply to decrease its distance. When finished with the spell clench your fist and the current of air flowing from your finger will be gone.
Effects: Penna is a spell meant for everyday house hold uses, so to speak. It creates a gust of wind, or a current of wind, depending on the strength. That will blow various pieces of dirt or leaves into a neat pile. It's simple to direct the wind, all you need to do is point the way you want the mess with the finger that's releasing the air. Penna however can't move vary heavy items however, usually it can only move varying items that way less than an average ((Small)) tree branch.

| "Jack Frost" Sixteen (16) October 11 | Male Heterosexual Unemployed | Aldian |
★ APPEARANCE
Aldian has an, irregular, length of hair for a common male. It is labelled as such due to most males having short hair that doesn't hang about their shoulders. His hair is blonde, although one could consider it dirty blond due to how dark it is in varying areas. The attire that he can be seen in most commonly is a hooded cloak. The cloak which he can often be seen in has a somewhat dark colour scheme. The majority of the cloak sports a shade of grey that goes by the name of "Davy's Grey." This shade of grey is quite dark, although it is somewhat far away from being considered "Black." The trimming on his cloak is a shade of charcoal, which is quite darker than the rest of the cloak, and is fairly close to the colour "Black."
Along with his irregular length of hair Aldian possesses a, uncommon, eye colour. His eyes are green, although to be more specific they're forest green. This shade of green is fairly, darker, than the average green that one might see in grass.
Aldian has a fairly, simple, build. He is one that doesn't exceed in psychical strength, which is fairly noticeable when looking at his arms, or his legs. Usually it would be hard to notice if he was muscular at all however, since he tends to wear long clothing, even in hot weather. He doesn't have an over-abundant amount of fat on him, nor does he have an under-abundant amount either. His weight is about the average for his age, and somewhat short stature.
★ PERSONALITY
+ Logical + Prudent + Leisurely + Organized + Polite ((To an extent))
- Apprehensive - Lazy ((To an extent)) - Sarcastic ((At the wrong times)) - Forgetful - Ignorant
★ HISTORY
When Aldian was but a wee' lad he knew about the fright that ran through the town. The Church had outlawed any and all use of magic. Whether it be a spell that summons a small spark to light a flame or simply a spell to fold your clothes. It was all outlawed, due to a belief of it being heresy. If one was found of possessing magic they would be burned at the stake. However that was only after the user received various beatings across the body. The Church was thorough in the sense of dealing with Wizards, Witches, or anyone that was found with magic in their life. They dealt the punishment that their so called "God" had demanded. It was a time of fright for not only Aldian's family, but anyone who was believed to carry uncommon traits, or powers.
Often at night one could hear the screams of pain from the poor souls in prison. This made it ever so hard for Aldian to fall asleep when he was young, he simply cringed at the sound of it. However, as he grew up he simply accepted it. The pain that others would endure because of what a "God" demanded. After many years in this dreaded town Aldian's family had diminished somewhat. His mother had been, disposed of, due to a belief that she was a Witch. This wasn't uncommon for families, but it still struck him and his father somewhat, hard. However as time moves on so must you, and that's what they did, to an extent. Aldian's father still seemed affected by the loss of his Wife, even after many seasons had passed.
With a plague spreading many people stayed indoors, for fear of catching it. However with mouths to feed there was always someone out and about. Whether it be in search of a job or fulfilling their duties, you could always see some poor folk out. In most cases it was men however, like his father, who were out. Although in these times even he, just a simple boy, needed to work. Searched high and low Aldian did, with little results. That was, until he met an odd elderly fellow. The man offered Aldian a job, however it was a fairly odd one. In his view at least. It was simple enough though, gather this and that from the forest. Although apparently it was vital that he wasn't seen with what he collected. He didn't poke or pry about why he couldn't , for he didn't want to lose his only job.
With a prying father that wanted Aldian to make all he could for him he demanded that he get a raise. After all, he apparently couldn't be seen carrying the materials he collected, so it had to be illegal. After making his way back to the small building where his employer worked Aldian heaved a sigh. It was going to probably end bad, asking the boss about a raise, but he had no choice. For he knew his father would go on a rampage if he didn't, so he proceeded in asking. Apparently, according to his employer, it was for various potions of sorts. Some were meant to help with the plague, or help prevent it anyway. This however was illegal, for it was believed to be Witchcraft. But now Aldian couldn't tell anyone, for he could most likely be burned at the stake for assisting in this illegal act.
After a very, very, long talk with his employer Aldian weakly demanded compensation, whether it be in magical teachings or a raise. Of course at this point it wasn't going to make a difference if he knew magic or not when it came to the Church's punishment. Thus he decided it could better his life if he were caught by the church with at least some knowledge of how to escape. Proceeding to lengthen this conversation even further Aldian and his employer came to an agreement. He would be taught magic at a pre-agreed time. This was mainly due to his employer, who he was told to call "Chrom," being unable to provide a raise of sorts money wise. However this compensated for the lack of money, for in theory it could earn him a living later on in life.
After receiving teachings from Chrom for a long period of time Aldian's father passed away. His passing was caused by the plague, and it didn't stir much of a surprise. After all, it was bound to happen sooner or later. However it proved quite unfortunate at this time, because it meant Aldian was unable to raise enough money to give to his landlord. With this unfortunate event he talked to Chrom, in hopes of gathering information on what to do. For without his father there was no one else in town he could talk to about these matters. After another very, very, long talk with Chrom Aldian learned of a place called "Dorcha Hollow." It was apparently a safe haven for Magic users, and it would most likely provide him with some living space if he played his cards right. Thus Aldian collected the few belongings he had before purchasing the goods he would need for his mighty adventure to Dorcha Hollow. Once prepared he left with hopes of finding the safe haven, where he didn't have to fear the Church. Along with a place to stay, that wouldn't cost him an arm and a leg.
★ MAGIC PRIMARY SPECIALIZATION | Divinus Gelus [Ice, Offensive]Divinus Gelus was taught to Aldian by a man named Chrom. This magic specializes in the element of ice, and occasionally water, in an offensive manner. It does not have many every day uses, like lighting a fire, or healing a wound, like other magics tend to. However this doesn't mean some of the spells that fall under this practice are incapable of everyday uses. It simply implies that it would be rather difficult to find one for various spells. INTERMEDIATE Hastile AdustumHastil Adustum is a offensive spell that specializes in the ice element. This spell releases a shaft of freezing ice at a target. It deals a medium amount of damage while inflicting first, to third, degree frostbite. One would need a more complex version of this spell to inflict fourth-degree frostbite.
